Ohio State President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. has resigned abruptly after disclosing “an inappropriate relationship” with a person who was seeking public resources for her business. In a statement released Monday, Carter said he resigned voluntarily after informing the board he'd “made a mistake” in inappropriately allowing the person access to leadership at the nation's sixth largest university.
